5400 Challenge
This Challenge was imagined by Solu^Cham Team to both fulfill their passion for the nice mountains of Nepal, and as well to raise funds for the Numbur Vocational Training(NVTC) Project launching.
Starting November 1st 2023, Solu^Team will start walking from Lukla at 2860m towards Gokyo Ri and Renjo La, just above 5400m.
Everyday, the Team will report through Solu^Cham website & social networks ( IA&FB& YouTube) the progresses made and the altitude reached.
We encourage you to support our Team and our project by donating through this platform a fixed amount for every 100m of altitude gained.

Construction of the center in Garma, Solu-Khumbu, starts on August 31st 2023 ( official event), with a tentative planning for completion by end 2024.
First on-boarding session shall be in February 2025, for 30 children, between Construction and Tourism Trades.
Funds are needed to complete this construction and equip the workshops properly.
ABOUT
SOLUCHAM
Solu^Cham is a French NGO domiciliated at Les Houches ( Haute Savoie), focused on promoting Health and Education in the highlands of Solu-Khumbu, in Nepal. Our projects are diverse , from supporting a network of 15 primary schools( 700 kids) and 2 Health Posts with various donations, financial & technical support, to the Construction and Operation of a Vocational Training Center in Garma ( called NVTC) aiming at providing youngsters through a 2 years cursus the necessary background to find a job in their mountains. Emphasis is made with the children on the protection of their environment and the importance of a sustainable approach.
